Re: Bears 2018 Offseason: Matt Nagy Hired as Head Coach

Cutler was hilarious and awesome and I loved him but he was a mediocre quarterback and that's ok. Cutler arguably hit several of those 7 traits listed, but that's not the type of average QB Chicago wants. If you're elite you can be whatever you want to be, but if you're gonna be average, you better...

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Shot distribution is going to be interesting. Lauri should be the first option, but LaVine and Parker are certainly getting their shots too. I think Dunn needs to be the guy taking a bit on attempts. Minutes distribution up front will be interesting too. No idea how they'll split minutes between WC...

I had an Imo's not long ago. It was fine. Nothing special about it, but nothing blasphemous or inedible by any means. You’re wrong. It’s gross. And overpriced. The cheese is an abomination. Nah, it was fine. It's fine in the sense if its put in front of me and I'm hungry I'll eat it, but not fine i...

Also come 2020 the Dems just need to have the political courage to bring back FDRs court packing scheme.

While it obviously has zero impact on the election map there is probably a legit argument they'd rather have Ocasio Cortez in that seat than middle age white dude.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Carlos Boozer was a very good player, especially at his peak with Utah. I'd be more than happy if that were his outcome. That said, it's kind of a weird comp IMO from what I can gather. The comment about the 2010-11 Bulls is pretty weird considering that team had a superstar DRose and probably coul...

Yea, comps are dumb anyways, but a Boozer like career value would beat the average number 7 pick.

Carter and Hutchison ain't exciting, but it's not bad at all.

Can't believe Robert Williams is still out there.

Would love to see the Bulls surprise us and trade back into the 30-40 range.

Use that Jordan Bell cash. Or take on some contracts.

Re: General Baseball Chit-Chat Thread

My order of preference would be... 1. Both leagues use no DH. 2. Both leagues use some sort of compromise rule like a “designated pinch hitter” who could bat three times in a game without the player he’s batting for having to come out. 3. Both leagues use the DH (Big space.) 4. Things stay the same...

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Chicago has also been active in lottery trade talks and could move up from no. 7, as mentioned above. Multiple sources have said that the Bulls could be looking to add a second lottery pick, too. The Sixers’ no. 10 selection was floated as a possibility. From Kevin O'Connor's article just now. Inte...

Re: General Baseball Chit-Chat Thread

I definitely prefer consistency across leagues, but if there was a big desire for a middle ground, I like the proposal where the DH is tied to the SP, so when he exits its NL rules. Gets rid of most the bad at bats while leaving lots of the strategy part.

Looks like the Knicks can't take on Parson. But, I never underestimate their ability to make dumb trades so maybe they'll find a third team and give up everything else of value they have to make it happen.
