Re: Game of Thrones

Do I want to watch people traveling around? Of course not. That's not the point. It's about making sense of the overall timeline. If it takes Jon two weeks to travel from Winterfell to Dragonstone, then you have to question what Cersei and/or Euron are doing during that time. just because they cut ...

Re: Game of Thrones

Eh I didn't take it quite like that. But attacking Yaras fleet at least holds both strategic importance as well as personal satisfaction for Euron so it makes sense to me. That said, he knows Dorne is aligned with them, and would have known to look for someone of importance to look for when that ti...

Re: Game of Thrones

[quote="JennieGarthAlgar"]So Euron's plan the whole time was to sail off and capture Ellaria as a gift for Cersei right? Pretty fortunate for him that she happened to be on Yara's ship right in his path.. Was this just lazy writing or does he have inside info from someone in Dany's camp? C...

Re: Game of Thrones

Aside from still not quite understanding how Euron built so many ships so quickly, these competing story lines came together nicely this episode and make way more compelling of a story line than "Euron has magic dragon horn" (or whatever, I don't care book readers) or Euron captures Tyrion.

Its great he wanted to come to Chicago. And yeah, if we could have added him, I'd have been against rebuilding too..... Slight issue though.....The Bulls didn't have jack horsefeathers to trade for him. Draft picks. Lots of them Sure. If LeBron wasn't there anymore. Is there a realistic package fro...

Marry someone? No, I don't think so. The Targaryean dynasty had a few queens, so a king isn't absolutely necessary I'm not exactly sure you watched the episode. They pretty clearly established that they have no allies and she ONLY let him come because of such. The scene where Eruron met her and Jai...

I guess just trying to gauge the ultimate lineage here, as per her convo with Jamie last night, the dynastical legacy seems at least somewhat important. she needs an heir at the end of the day but right now there is a war going on and that sort of thing doesn't really matter. She could relieve Jaim...

He probably needs an infantry. Does Cersei need his ships just as badly? Seems like that was already a fairly even strategic trade/alliance without his gift being that much more valuable. It's just really dumb. Of course we're gonna talk about a contract in a big trade. The weird and hilarious thing about it is that they're in first place and rationalizing how 2021 is the year. Like I'm sure to keep sane, many posters here circa 2011 many were plotting the Cardinals demise, but we were in last place. It was our only hope.

Figured there'd be a thumbs up consensus here. Glad to see I was right. Bleacher nation overall seems pretty well grounded as well, but w/ a few notable dumpster fires of terrible logic.
