Re: ♫ Star Wars, nothing but...Star Wars! ♫

it is really upsetting how much it pisses me off that mike mitchell hates this awesome movie and that i know he’s just going to whine and whine about how much he hates it on the next five months of doughboys.

The Pee Cast Blast Sunday was just a fantastically fun time. Didn't think eight hours of live podcasts could just fly by like that but it really did - every show was fantastic. - Playing Games w/Jimmy Pardo: only listened to the Scotty Auks episode just to get an idea of the structure and haven't l...

Re: Shohei Ohtani Signs with the Angels

I’ve seen a bunch of people on Twitter (including Brett) saying “ohhh, this explains why he was in such a rush to come over.” Is there a reasonable way to connect the dots there that I’m missing? Even if he somehow thought he had one pitch left before his elbow snaps, wouldn’t that just make it easi...

That's kind of a big honor for Hendricks. Shows how much Theo thinks of him. Good for Kyle. Hendricks also lives in the LA area, so it might have just been a proximity thing. Hendricks is in Chicago this winter, he works out at my gym. He's actually a really nice guy. take a picture of him in the l...

the angels will be great fun with him and trout. i wanted him on the cubs, but no money and no dh and no pacific ocean all but ruled that out. this will make baseball more fun and will impact that cubs as indirectly as possible, so i like this outcome a lot.

he told them he might as well get maxed out if he’s going to sign there and they are in no position to say no.

even if he doesn’t really care about money, it never especially made sense that he’d take ten percent of what he could get elsewhere today. these trades feel like the final confirmation that we never had a shot.

It doesn’t matter if Kaepernick is the second coming of Dan Marino...no one is signing him. The way the anthem nonsense blew up, and how a) Goodell didn’t mitigate it and b) Trump dumped gasoline on it, the backlash of that signing isn’t worth the headache Oh geez Am I wrong? How many times do peop...
