Re: NFL Playoffs: Wildcard Round

Chiefs open -1.5 favorite. 53.5 o/u I'll take Chiefs and the over. I think a final score in the 27-20 range is a pretty realistic. SF will try to keep the game low scoring by running the ball 40 times. I'm not sure that will be a winning formula but it will limit KCs chances. I think KC will score ...

My daughters recently started watching Sam & Cat, the 2013/14 era show starring Ariana Grande. My god, this show is painful. What the hell is the voice Ariana Grande is using? Why is she using that voice? Why is there a mentally challenged MMA fighter named Goomer? How did Ariana Grande survive...

did that plot accomplish anything at all? I've only seen TLJ twice, but am I wrong in saying that his B-plot with Rose could have been entirely erased from the film and it would have made no difference? If Finn and Rose stay on the ship, the "sneak away in cloaked transports" plan probabl...

Long overdue for Covert. I think you could make a case for Jay Hilgenberg too (if he isn't already in).

plot hole I'd pay good money to never ever hear this phrase again. The New Republic can be ignorant/dismissive of the FO for whatever reason you want; not spelling it out for everyone isn't a plot hole. A space government failing to see or stop a rising threat is hardly something inconsistent or il...

Was it ever explained why the New Republic wasn't fighting the First Order? Seems like a plot hole. I'm sure there is some EU book that explains it, but in the words of Mr. Plinkett: "I don't care what's in no fvcking book" It wasn't explained but the New Republic probably didn't want ano...

Packers vs Chiefs would be a rematch of super bowl I. I don't want to see the Packers win but I'd bet everybody that gets paid to write about this game hopes this happens. Evidently, during half time of Super Bowl I, they had 2 guys flying around on jet packs. It would be cool to see footage of that...

The premise for 1917 seems a little contrived. They're sending 2 guys with a message to call off an attack during WWI? The British lost 20,000 men on the first day of the Somme and still attacked again on day 2. The generals didn't seem to mind losing thousands of men in pointless attacks. Why would...
