Re: Justice Ginsburg has died

There are no undecided senators. There are only senators who believe they benefit politically from appearing undecided or possibly being allowed to vote against if the outcome is not in doubt

Re: Justice Ginsburg has died

GOPers are going to replace RGB. That's that. The Dems only choice to save Roe v Wade is to pack the court starting Jan 20 and get it done before a legal challenge can actually make it to the court. I have some hope that they won’t overturn it. They’re not stupid men and they know what complete and...

Re: Justice Ginsburg has died

Is it better for the republican machinery to try to ram a nominee through(which I’m guessing will be unpopular even by gop governing standards), or is it better to turn the election into judges v Biden instead of Trump v Biden? Ram through. A confirmed justice is worth more than a 10% improved odds...

Re: Justice Ginsburg has died

This is where they try to run up the score and nominate someone who makes Kavanaugh look reasonable.

They’re going to find someone who thinks that whether the president is bound by the constitution or not is an interesting question

It’s not really about abortion. It’s about white supremacy. If liberals caved on abortion tomorrow, it would take the powers that be all of a few weeks to come to with a new litmus test issue It’s also about guns...never mind, that’s also about white supremacy. Re: Golf thread

hit the ball well today but somehow still ended up at almost double-bogey for 11 holes. This is why I don't measure progress by scoring alone . . . I try to think that way but I am a sucker for numbers. I finally hit a real drive on a par-4. Not massive, but 200 yards and in the fairway. I pushed t...

Re: Golf thread

43 today, continuing to gain on it. My irons were perfect in warmups and for the first three holes, then kind of fell apart on me. Chips were mostly good but I had two get away from me, one on a tough downhill lie and the other I thought I hit perfect but the green was fast and downhill and it just ...

Another 9 holes with nephew tomorrow and I am cursed with Expectations because my range sessions lately have been amazing by my standards. I am going to be legit disappointed when my score doesn’t reflect it.

I put it at like a 3% chance that Trump realizes he’s going to lose badly, declares Antifa has messed with the election and the only fair thing to do is send in DHS agents to seize ballot boxes in key states.

Re: CDC Info on COVID-19 (Corona virus)

I’m not qualified to make a final judgment or anything, but the first results look pretty disappointing on Eli Lilly’s monoclonal antibody treatment. Re: Week 2: NY Giants @ Chicago BEARS Home Opener

With Mack’s lower production and contract, I think you’d be lucky to get a third for him. Plus the accelerated dead cap hit would destroy you.

I still think we can out-tank the lions but it would take some luck. That was a 50/50 game with two bad teams

Right now I hate that we are going to win this game and be on our way to saving Pace’s job with another 8-8 season.

But if they actually do win and are 2-0 I’ll probably jump on the hype train just because it’s fun
