Re: The Bryce is Right, Bitch

So I see the "Bryce Signing Announcement" about this time tomorrow. BUT.... If for some odd reason he signs elsewhere, it's going to absolutely glorious when the Cubs players in 2019 perform and over perform (as opposed to much of the under performing last season), and they dominate the Na...

Re: The Bryce is Right, Bitch

The longer this drags out and the longer we make no moves of substance it makes me think we are more in on Bryce than is known. I think we have the moves/trades lined up to sign him if he tells us he wants to come/accepts our offer, but we aren’t going to make those moves if he doesn’t come because...

Bryce and Kris look like awesomely fun party bros who you would want to go hang out with but then you'd find out that their champagne glasses are filled with La Croix and then they'd invite you to their bible study group This is PRECISELY how Mormons operate. Ever been to a Mormon Dance? No, but I ...

Re: The Business of Baseball (AKA never side with management)

the big 3 sports are in a real weird spot right now to be honest everyone knows now (and some decent percentage of us care) that seemingly every team owner sucks to some large degree. Like billionaires who want to do well spend their money in ways that aren't on sports teams. so the pool of billion...

I expect the Packers and vikes to be better next year. But that will make the rivalries even better. .....

What about the opposite of a 6-man rotation. What if a team had 2-3 really good starters, and then bullpenned the other days with a really superior bullpen? Could it work?
