that would mean he's been unhealthy for 2 years in a row, which wouldn't fill me with confidence either

Wasnt he out significant time last year?

Re: Addison Russell

Geez, I mean, he's had a bad season. No doubt about it. But it's not like a player has never had a bad season (or two) and come back the next year or anything. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. But I'm not ready to declare him terrible forever at only twenty fourrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. ...

Re: #NotAllPitchers

I wonder if any White Sox fans are looking over at the Mets rotation with DeGrom, Thor, Matz, and Harvey in 2015 and starting to feel a little less comfortable about the future. Or heck, our 2003 rotation with Prior, Wood, Zambrano and Clement. They have Kopech gone till 2020 and the chance Cease i...

Saw this on ESPN. Insurance money from Darvish helped pay for Murphy "As we mentioned at the time, the Cole Hamels trade was exceptionally CBT-friendly, and therefore, we still had room under the threshold to fit Murphy," Hoyer said. "In addition, the insurance money we are receiving...

I just can't figure this guy out. 6 years toiling in the minors, never really doing that much. starts this year hot at iowa, comes up and looks like the next superstar. Not saying hes the real deal but didnt he do pretty well the last 2 years in the minors plus a great Arizona Fall League this past...

Ive said it since he was a prospect that Javy reminds me more of the skinny lightning quick mid 90s Sammy but playing elite up the middle defense. Even mid 90s free swinging Sammy probably had better walk rates though. But thats more than made up for with Javy's defense, baserunning and premium posi...

Re: David Bote is a Golden God and Deserves His Own Thread

Now that im rock hard Im dreaming of a lineup of

Bote 2b
Trout CF
Rizzo 1B
Bryant 3B
Schwarber LF
Baez SS
Contreras C
Heyward RF
Pitcher

Even has some nice righty, lefty, righty, lefty, righty balance through the middle of that murderers row of Trout, Rizz, KB, Schwarber, Baez.

Re: David Bote is a Golden God and Deserves His Own Thread

This guy is actually good. Shockingly so. this may be a really dumbass suggestion for many reasons, BUT if we internally, love Bote and think he's some safe bet to be 3+ WAR, Corey Koskie redux, what does Billy Eppler say if you offer him up Bryant, Happ/Almora, ++ for Trout? how much does he try t...

The umps are terrible. Replay is definitely needed. Maybe adjust replay a bit but the Umps are so ridiculously wrong often & replay has proven that.

Plus it does not significantly slow a game down.

Meh havent the Cubs scored more runs than the Yanks & they have a damn DH?

Id rather face them than the Red Sox or Astros. Itll be a 50 50 series anyways. So lets beat whoever!
