Re: General Baseball Chit-Chat Thread

I know it is silly and there are so many bigger things to worry about, but the more I hear about players going to the "IL", the more I hate it. What was wrong with calling it the Disabled List? You post like a poster who obviously hates and/or holds significant disdain for disabled people

Already in the rearview! Darnold’s going to be way better than Bitch (edit: where is the horsefeathers?) Trubisky and soon! —— Ed Oliver is the only big name guy who really holds up in the WALDO formula for pass rushers this year, testing like a 287 pound Shawn Merriman, Justin Houston, or Brian Ora...

6 Ks and no HRs allowed in 3.2 IP for Faustino Carrera, but also 5 walks and 4 hits (all 2Bs) to give up two runs

Soooo Ademan’s getting beat up early...6 Ks in 12 ABs

Re: 2019 Draft Thread

Georgia RHP Tony Locey showed some pro tools in his start against Vanderbilt on Sunday. He’s a big guy, 6’3” 240, and a good athlete on the mound. He relied on a 93-96 four seam and showed alot of aptitude for commanding the pitch, hitting spots with the pitch both inside and up in the zone for whif...

That’s funny, I did a mock last night for shiggles and left it saved as a draft. Instead I made that post about what I’d do if it were draft day...I have Wilson gone by the time the Cubs pick, guy’s a 3 year hitter that actually hit and should stick at SS

What are the hopes/expectations for Thompson? He seems like a guy whose stuff would get rocked and is maxed out so there’s not too much hope for a surprise velocity jump

Cam Sanders made a decent enough season debut. He‘s got one of the stronger arms in the system, and is one of of the few who naturally takes a more power oriented north/south approach —— https://twitter.com/ProspectsVideo/status/1114324908497043456?s=20 Gotta think a chubster like Paredes literally ...

Drew Waters can play. He and Ian Anderson are two of the best prospects in the minors. The Braves are owned by scum even relatively speaking so they should send those guys to the Cubs. — Amaya with an XBH (2B) and a K to open his season. Lange got hut around — Velazquez (2B), Mejia (1/3 with a walk)...

Draft:

Ed Oliver EDGE
Noah Fant TE
Hakeem Butler WR
Lonnie Johnson CB
Mitchell Hyatt OT
Erik McCoy C
