Clinton's impeachment is far more embarrassing for the republicans

I guess but getting disbarred is no badge of honor either.

He didn't come here for a haircut, he came for the jewelry. And he got it. But he's still a mouth breather.

Re: The Cardinals

So I grew up squarely in Cardinals territory. Every teacher, coach, classmate, etc. that I could think of that gave me a hard time growing up received a Cubs Christmas card that simply said "Merry Christmas from the World Champions!" Some of these people will have no idea who sent it, and...

Re: Fowler signs with Cardinals for 5/82

FWIW Derrick Goold and Ben Frederickson of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch write that the Cardinals "could become more aggressive than previously believed," with Mark Trumbo and Edwin Encarnacion as "possible pursuits." Interesting. The report says that the Cards' reported five-year...

Re: Fowler signs with Cardinals for 5/82

As an aside, the Cardinals ... intrigue me. If things go well, you could see them compete for a playoff spot. You'd almost have to have all the dominoes fall in place for them to see them really dominate, but if enough things go right, sure, they are in the playoff hunt. Yet, the team's fairly thin...

Re: Winter Meetings Thread (?)

Question on the Tyson Ross surgery - how successful is the recovery? I don't even know how to spell his condition but with other injuries like TJS, the results can be fairly predictable with the number of surgeries. But with Ross - what is the likelihood he returns to his old self? http://www.beyon...

I will be surprised is DeVoss is confirmed. This is the one real case the Democrats can make to stand firm. She's a big money doner who should have been given an ambassadorship, not a cabinet post. She's totally unqualified. It's a good thing the Feds have no real control of public education outsid...

I always thought Corey Booker checked all the boxes too. The DNC eff'd up bad - jamming a 70 yo political dinosaur down everyone's throats, suppressing whatever younger talent / rising star there could be.

Re: Politics & Current Events

Hillary, the DNC and the media screwed Bernie (and after defeat, Bernie sold out). He would've beaten Trump straight up. He never had a chance as she was anointed years ago. Blame the DNC for running a tired, overexposed and deeply flawed political animal. nobody cares about bernie sanders, give it...
