Trump won the latest batch of votes in Maricopa by 15.6%. That's just not enough for him. That is supposed to be the largest remaining batch of votes in AZ.

Haven't seen it posted here, but NV released another batch of votes that expanded Biden's lead to ~23k. From Nate Cohn: "New ballots from Clark County (that’s Las Vegas) expanded Biden’s lead in Nevada. I am not aware of a reason to believe that Trump can overcome his deficit in the state."

Thought I'd need some more time, but yep, what Judas said. https://twitter.com/drewmagary/status/1324799664353325056 That's a really weak correlation there and is mainly driven by a couple of outliers. It's also pretty easy to say that correlation does not imply causation here. Many of those more c...

Re: The Politics Thread

There was no way Trump was ever going to concede even if he lost every state decisively. The best we could hope for is him eventually stepping aside peacefully but forever maintaining that it was rigged and stolen from him Yeah that’s got to be the end game. “OK whatever but we all know it was frau...

A Biden spokesman says that if Biden wins and Trump refuses to concede, “The United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House.”

Most definitely, the GOP knows with Biden taking the pandemic seriously and if he's allowed to mostly follow through on his plans. There will be notable improvement, which can only help to confirm the Dems are not so bad after all. In 2024 the Dems will able to say something along the lines of you ...

My wife went to bed at 9pm last night and really didn't get why I was so uptight about the whole thing. She can't stand Trump, but the things he says and does don't impact her at an emotional level. But she is very good at not worrying about the things she can't control. I envy her, really.

Nwogu went 2/4 with a BB, Strumpf went 2/4 and Perlaza went 2/4 with a triple and homer.

I have to admit to being irrationally excited about Nwogu.
