If Bryce signs because of (in part) his friendship with KB, does that help the Cubs keep KB down the road cuz he wants to stay with Bryce? Conversely, if the Cubs can't sign Bryce, does that make it harder for them to retain KB? No idea what will happen but I wouldnt doubt if Bryce definitely wants...
