I'm reading the QB coach is still available.

Re: Bullpen Options

To me, this feels like a precursor to other deals. I find it pretty hard to believe that they stood still all this time to go with Montgomery as their 5th starter. They said they weren't done improving the team, but I highly doubt that Duensing was the missing piece. Montgomery wants to start. This ...

Re: McCutchen to the Giants

Okay, color me surprised at so many people thinking it's a crap return for McCutchen. What did people expect for him? I mean, relatively speaking, I think the Gerrit Cole trade was a worse return, and that one was probably passable (although most reviews paint it as a general negative, which I buy)...

Re: Bears 2018 Offseason: Matt Nagy Hired as Head Coach

Seems like a perfect draft to trade down. Very few WR or OT's going in the first round in the mocks I've read. None really jump out at #8 while there should be plenty of teams willing to move up to that spot.

Re: 2017-18 NFL Playoffs

Perfect example of the horrible form of launching yourself instead of making a tackle. Every time somebody asks "what was he supposed to do" to avoid a penalty, it's this arms down head first nonsense. Don't do that. Hopefully we never see a play like that again, but unfortunately, it's j...

Re: Bears 2018 Offseason: Matt Nagy Hired as Head Coach

Trestman failed because he was a huge weirdo and because he had the worst DC I've ever seen. I only learned after the Georgia/Alabama game that Mel Tucker was the DC for Georgia. How does he get any DC job anywhere after what he did to the Bears defense? i'd imagine almost anyone who has nfl experi...

Re: Bears 2018 Offseason: Matt Nagy Hired as Head Coach

Yea, i like young innovative processes, but id like to avoid a Trestman reduex I don't think Trestman failed because of lack of NFL coaching experience. Trestman had 17 years of NFL coaching experience, including 8 years as an Offensive Coordinator, before becoming the Bears HC. Kromer had 12 inclu...

Doesn't seem very realistic to get DeFillippo. But, googling coaching news, it seems as though DeFillippo wanted Fangio if he did get a head coaching gig.

32 teams in the NHL. Only 7 currently have losing records. Weird. 2 of those 7 are only a game away from .500.

Twins sign Rodney. Don’t see where Davis goes and gets big years/money at this point. Morrow’s deal +$15ish more million seems far more likely. There just aren't enough Mariano Rivera/Trevor Hoffman type closers in baseball these days where you can just pencil in 40 saves for the next 4-10 years, s...
