Re: The Politics Thread
I think you guys are tangentially referring to it, but no one has said the exact word: Greed. Upper middle class/white, as people have mentioned, are typically the least impacted people by government decisions, so they base it on the one thing that 'affects' them: taxes. Except that a large majorit...

Re: The Politics Thread
True/False?: If COVID never happened, Trump would have cruised to victory this election False. I think he got the "it's all a hoax to try to get me" message to sick and it ended up having a net neutral effect. yeah, i think trump cruises to victory w/o COVID. i'll have to say, though, his...

Somebody talk me off the ledge on Arizona i'm right there with ya. this is all i got. The Associated Press has declared Democrat Joe Biden the winner in Arizona, flipping a longtime GOP state that President Donald Trump won in 2016. The AP called the race at 2:50 a.m. EST Wednesday, after an analys...

Assuming all of Maine goes blue, it would be 271-269 Biden
270-268 if that NE district goes to Trump
biden has better chance at the NE district than the Maine one.

Re: The Politics Thread
very frustrating to see, like, 8 point swings toward biden from 2016 in a) deep red states where it doesn't matter and b) light red states where such a shift just means biden loses by 2. and then pennsylvania and florida are polling exactly the same as 2016. if those states just shifted to the left ...

get the number of cases up super high, claim it’s not safe to have the election, push it back another year. maybe his best strategy at this point. smart.
