Re: soccer soccer soccer

Soccer guys, answer this question for me because I really have no idea. I came across some snippet somewhere debating who the best American player ever was. Since it seemed like the article was suggesting that Bradley was our greatest player ever, I'll use him for this example. If he were French, or...

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel

Just saw Deadpool....again. Just as hilarious on second viewing. The baby hand part was absolutely hilarious. Yeah, that was probably my second hardest laugh. Him breaking all his bones fighting Colossus was the funniest part to me. Definitely shades of Holy Grail's Black Knight in that scene.

I don't think we are that many election cycles away from having more than two parties holding significant seats in Congress, much like Germany.

Re: Politics & Current Events

A win for Hillary today probably means she wins the whole thing. She is basically being elected president today. If the GOP doesn't nominate Trump, which I still don't still see happening, he'll run third party and screw them all.

Re: Better Call Saul (Again)

that dude's baseball card rant was great. Oh, and that bit about "do not turn this off" reminded me of something from LOST that I can't remember. LOST of course got really stupid so I don't remember much of it but wasn't there something in it about how someone did some mundane thing in the...

Re: Presidents Day

I'll play. TR would be a choice for many, but he'd never shut up and let you get a word in. Lincoln, but not because I think I'd be thrilled with the conversation, but much like Washington, he's just someone that I would really want to meet. Jefferson and Madison were such eggheads that they were bo...

The Force Awakens being fresh immediately brings Harrison Ford = Han Solo to mind due to its recency. However, throughout much of my life if I were to think of Harrison Ford, my immediate first thought would be of Indiana Jones.

i agree with this. The rise of Donald Trump is a terrifying moment in American politics Pretty much anyone in the media clutching their pearls like this over Trump is the height of hypocrisy. They've gleefully enabled this entire debacle to the point he brags about it on a near daily basis. Truth

If we absolutely HAD to have one of this current GOP field be president, Kasich would be the least terrible, right? Admittedly I don't much about him, but he seems on the surface to be the least offensive.
