The sign up thread should be stickied, I think a lot of people haven't noticed it's happening. Usually there's a sticky to let people know about it. A week left to enter and less than 10 entries.

Yeah, I completely forgot until you bumped it. This is always too fun to not have at the top.

I made the entry thread a sticky post. I'm going to be sending PMs today to those who participated last season.

Southpaw, did you get my WC PM? I still get an error message every time I try to send one, and none of them are showing up in my sent messages folder.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Let's see if I managed to not screw up some obvious WC choice this year (like I do every year)

Oh noes, I'm the only one with Gallo. It's either a genius pick or a disaster (spoiler: disaster)

Seems like a relatively diverse year for WC picks, usually seems like there's only 1 or 2 guys that the vast majority has.

I think if Soler was guaranteed more playing time, most of us would have went Soler. Myself, I'm relying on a injury-return-to-power.

Agree, Sofa not picking him really surprised me only thing more surprising is him knowing who Corey Seagar is.

I completely blanked on Park and I'm kicking myself over it. Checked the prospects and injured players from last year and double-checked to see if any crazy Cubans had been signed, but completely forgot about him.

I'm still annoyed I changed my WC last year from A-Rod to Soler at the last second before sending the PM.

I was burned by Fukodome, so I'm not buying the Park hype until he proves me wrong. Don't see the power translating just yet.

That's what I'm telling myself! That said, Park's clearly in a different class power-wise. I gotta figure he's good for 25-30 dongs.

Even a guy who can crush 50 HR in the KBO is no lock for that many homers. He does have a larger build though so who knows maybe he's different, but history would suggest that the power won't translate to that many homers, but there really aren't many WC guys this season who you can count on for that many homers to begin with. plenty of guys with the power to do so (Gallo, Soler, etc.), but no guarantee for playing time or success.

Almost went with Conforto. Avoided Seager because I thought he would be the consensus WC pick and wanted somebody else so I wouldn't be gaining points with everyone at the same time... and I end up picking the guy who was picked the most, lol.

Love sneaky's pick though. I'm big on Domingo Santana and completely blanked on him choosing this. That's a good pick.
