Scheels was a madhouse today huh? Walked in around 4:30 and people were all over the Cubs stuff. People everywhere. Left around 6:30 and it was still the same thing. Was really cool to see actually. MLB is going to make a killing off of this Cubs title.

I'd love one. If you still have any available I'll shoot you a PM tomorrow and get your paypal/venmo info.

I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one that has a division champion shirt (or more than one in my case)

That blu-ray set is going to be mine

Get Hendricks.

This is excellent. You should post this in the offseason moves thread. Priority number one: Get [expletive] Hendricks.

After the game I was up at 2am buying stuff. Ended up with the 3 tickets / coin frame; baseball; 3 t-shirts, hat, and Jon Lester jersey. Was time to replace the cub t-shirt rotation anyway and this post season has certainly done that!

I bought everything on fanatics.com -- great for the big and tall (aka FAT) guys like me. Tons of options.

Why not just get a Heyward jersey?

Well, you know. . . what if he opts out after a couple years? Jon Lester will still be a Cub in 4 or 5 years.

horsefeathers man, this ain't about Haywards future with the Cubs or performance while with them, this is about pissing off cardinal fans

He didn't win jack horsefeathers with them

They've drafted a horsefeathers load of pitchers every year since they've been here, probably 2 or 3 to 1 over the bats if I had to take a rough guess.

Thank you for alerting me to this. Link for anyone interested: http://store.chicagotribune.com/chicago ... plate.html

That sure would look swell autographed by Rizzo, Bryant, Javy, Russell, and Montgomery.

Does anyone know if the 8-disc blu-ray set would include the regular world series video as well as the 8 full games?

That is a good question. It seems like it should, but that wasn't clear from the description I read.

Championships are to be celebrated and revered forever. No one forgets championship teams because champions leave a legacy. The 2016 Chicago Cubs will leave a legacy.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

I joined the masses today (retailed it) for the first time since it happened and saw so many people wearing championship gear. it helped reaffirm my belief that I will never get sick of seeing it

also, I have struck out on that hat at every retailer in the area that I have either visited or called. I'm hoping another wave hits us soon because I decided I want that for my dad for Christmas
