It's pretty bold to think they'll lose 68 times

I think its nearly exactly what fangraphs predicts what will happen.

Oh sorry I take it back

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Cubs win 102 games and go to the World Series.
Hendricks wins the NL Cy Young.
Darvish finishes top 5.
Willson Contreras is the 3rd Cub to get MVP votes (Bryant, Rizzo).
Bryant, Rizzo, and Schwarber combine for 98 HRs.
Edwards and Wilson struggle, but the BP is boosted in July.
Caratini and Almora are no longer Cubs by year's end.

Are any of these bold?

I got everyone in this thread beat.

By the end of 2018, the Cubs' top FA target will have switched from Harper to Machado.

But Machado doesn't play Pictionary with KB, so how will this work?

I thought Almora was getting traded midseason? It's in the "Bold Predictions" thread.

Cubs sign Bryce Harper and Manny Machado on the same day in November.

Not saying it will happen, but the Cubs coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win the World Series does seem like the appropriate way to cap off this season and make the 30-for-30 even better.
