if you're really asking, yes

if it's rhetorical, pretend i posted nothing

(you can see the videos yourself on the cubs snapchat story, but it's not worth going out of your way for...just 3-4 clips of him working out at their facility)

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Maddon had some interviews today, some interesting stuff/tidbits

He also gushed about Cobb and Schwarber being in best shape of his life. Wouldn’t commit on closer/Morrow’s role listed a lot of the under the radar things about Chatwood to love we all liked (GB%, velo, home/road splits, etc).

Cobb?

Yeah, MLBN guys asked him about him and he talked about how much he loved him, great teammate, great competitor, works hard, knows how to pitch and is smart and Hickey feels the same way.

[expletive] I only read the most recent page. Figured after 3 hours I was probably missing the discussion somewhere

i see it as he feels with the uptick in stuff from pitching in short bursts, he can deal with walking a guy (maybe in pursuit of a chase) at least in part because he can get more strikeouts (or weak contact).

For those missing Len and JD, this is mostly innocuous but JD gets a couple quality zingers in.

I'm later than you are to the party, but didn't they(FO or Maddon, can't remember) make it clear that Monty was a reliever only going forward?

the end of season quote was Monty would probably go into spring training as a starter and end the spring as a reliever.

Prettt much yeah, I think the comment was they don’t mind him being a starter if needed during the year but ideally he’s not depended on/given one of the 5 spots out of ST.
