I mean, what do the Brewers expect? KB, Rizzo and Javy are all hurt so I’d course they’re not going to play.

The facts don’t matter, they’re a bunch of complainers and complain at any perceived slight they can find

I hope on the final day of the season he plays an "all relievers" defense with Robel Garcia on the mound

What a horsefeathers city to be in to find out you’re canned.

There’s a shot bar on Laclede’s Landing within stumbling distance to the casino. Seems as good a place as any.

I too thank Joe for bringing what seemed to be an improbable dream to us as a fan base. However, the last two years proved change was inevitable and much needed.

Thanks for everything, Joe. The Cubs won a World Series. Some people forget that.

So now what? Change was definitely needed but who are the top names to fill the void?

I think one of Loretta/Ross are most likely, but Johnson/Beltran are my favorites.

Will they let him manage tonight's game?

He didn’t get fired, they’re just not renewing his contract.

Baseball managers don’t mean the most but he was the guy at the head when we win it and can’t take that away. I was ready for a change but thanks Joe

Yeah, I’ll just remember the good stuff. Lots of fun baseball these past years. That’s all I really care about.

Good luck, Joe. I’m sure someone is planning on dropping a pallet of shrink-wrapped 100’s on your front porch so all is well.

My exact thought when I saw that tweet. Lol. His job depends on Maddon’s desire to manage the Angels.

I'd pretty much penciled in Joe for the Pads job but the Angels are certainly an attractive proposition in many ways. If they're willing to Renteria their manager to make this happen you know Maddon would seriously consider it.

Maddon is going to sleepwalk his way through a few years in Orange County before retiring, just like Dusty did in Cincinnati.
