When I first saw the preview of the thread title I thought this would have something to do with his "role as switch-hitter".

Can we please not create a new topic for someone going through a divorce? Much less one with a horsefeathers joke in the title.

if you're going to make a jokey headline, make it a good joke that at the very least, makes sense.

but we can probably skip this one as it's been discussed elsewhere, and unless something major happens with the story, it's not worth discussion

Also a double entendre.

I mean, if we’re talking about most likely outcomes...

During a "Not For Women Only" panel discussion, former Cubs pitcher Mike Bielecki asked several players to invent a baseball catch phrase for Viagra. Theriot's ad campaign: "Viagra -- I always play hard."

We have no idea so its stupid to introduce a thread talking about his divorce by implying that he cheated on her.

In an athlete/civilian divorce, that's probably true. In an athlete/popstar?singer?pseudo celebrity situation, I'm not sure those numbers add up.

Bigger picture: Why should we give a horsefeathers? If we hear some Russell-esque details come out of this, then it warrants discussion. Until then, it's just a sad story that you'd hope we could do a lot better than 'here's a dumb baseball pun'.

If we’re talking about a man and a woman, it is definitely the most likely. But Ben is no ordinary man.

There's already discussion about this in the general cubs thread...and I don't love the idea of Ben's divorce having it's own thread...so I'm locking this one.
