Wrong take bro -- I definitely dispute that comment. He gets plenty of air time on some of his spectacular defensive plays as shown here and in the previous posts.

an odd season with the bat so far; he's 2nd worst in team WPA, narrowly "trailing" ZobWrist but he's actually been fantastic with men on base: .889 OPS and whiffing just 21% frequency

he totally falls apart in high leverage spots, which might mostly explain it, but just 29 PA so whatever

Thanks. Looks like it'll show up before the game I go to next Saturday, so I'll see if it has the power.

So much awesomeness here.....The Javy tag to the face, the Willson knee throw, and Willson running off the field before the ball even got to Javy.

Jesus, I love these guys.

Is Contreras running off the field or to back up third if the throw went into the outfield?

He was running to the dugout. Full watch of it shows him going down the dugout stairs.

My damn Javi Air shirt isn't showing up until tomorrow. Odds are I won't have it before I leave to go for the game.

I am not pleased that I do not have this dumb t-shirt.

I still think Baez is a serious candidate for a trade this winter.

I wouldnt be surprised. He has a nice mix of being extremely valuable in a trade while also not being absolutely vital to our roster. I hope we keep him, he's just awesome in every way, but if we can use him as a piece to get a high OBP offensive piece or a pitcher to replace Jake then Im all for it.

I'd be extremely surprised. He definitely has his offensive struggles, but with an infield of Bryant-Russell-Baez-Rizzo, you have probably one of the best, and youngest defensive infields in the majors.

If one of our young players gets traded, Schwarber seems like he'd be more likely.
