Yeah, that looks weird. It's going to take me awhile to adjust whenever there is a pop-up over by where the bullpens used to be located.

I know it is just optical illusion from the picture angle but it looks like a super short "Pesky's pole" will be needed down the left field line.

Is the 7-11 across the street gone? From this picture it looks like it.

Not saying it will happen, but the Cubs coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win the World Series does seem like the appropriate way to cap off this season and make the 30-for-30 even better.

Yes, long gone.

it's part of the addison park on clark project, unrelated to the cubs' projects

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

i used to use the ATM there during games...the ATM lines are outrageously long in Wrigley usually, so I'd just say I was going for a smoke and they allow reentry for that.

I think murphys and bernies both still have ATMs too though

I used it for the big gulp trick but the Cubs shut that down several years ago so I am fine with it being gone. At least Taco Bell is still around for the degenerates.

There's almost no foul territory beyond the dugouts. Not that there was a lot to begin with. But those fans near the old bullpen areas are going to feel like they're sitting on the field.

Bucket list item: sit in the front row just past the dugouts. Those seats are crazy close.

I love how they have those planters lined up beside the new flagpoles so new Championships flags can easily be added there.

My brother (8 at the time) found $20 behind a bag of cheetos at that 7-11.

Meh, new turf always looks wonky from an aerial view.

Is pic #10 the top of the Jed Hoyer parade sweatsuit? I would buy that regardless of price, and I don't wear clothes like that. It would be like draping myself in velvet (I think)

They showed some of the bullpen on the broadcast last night. It was hard to tell, but from what I saw they looked kind of horsefeathers.
