The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

I also didn't know people were so upset about the "Rosemont-ification of Wrigleyville"

This is baffling to me as well. Doesn't getting rid of horsefeathers fast food restaurants make it less like Rosemont?

Have you been to Rosemont lately (or at least driven by it on 294)?

so when i think of rosemont it's more like big brand new mediocre chain restaurants and retail and stuff, not really mcdonalds and taco bell, which are pretty much anywhere

Actually the thing that surprised me the most was that the Auto Repair shop finally caved and sold.

I concede that my joke would have been more effective if they were bulldozing a Cheesecake factory rather than a Taco Bell.

looks like they're already digging up the 1st and 3rd base sides for the new club lounges

think we were supposed to see the new structure where the captain morgan/draft kings whatever is now by this offseason, but it doesn't look like they're doing that this year based on what i've seen so far.
