Mexico City is way too big and has way too much money in it for it to not eventually happen. Not this next round of expansion (or moves if Oakland and TB can’t get their crap together), but maybe the round of expansion after that. So maybe 20-30 years.

Other than Montreal, there isn’t an obvious expansion (or move) target right now, and Portland, San Antonio, and Charlotte all look like an owner would be signing up to be the next Pittsburgh or Kansas City. So eventually the potential reward of Mexico City will outweigh the risk.

Chief Wahoo is gone.

mostly

While Chief Wahoo will not appear on the uniforms moving forward, the team will still sell a limited amount of merchandise featuring the logo in order to maintain control of the trademark.

Highest career WAR of anyone in the HOF except Clemens, Bonds, A-Rod, and Pujols.

I feel like Beltre had the quietest HOF career in my lifetime.

Eh, not necessarily, a pedicure doesn't just mean you get your nails painted, it can be a cure of your feet to get rid of their dried skin and other yummy, yummy things. Source: I've got a cousin whodoes that for a living. It's disgusting, they're not getting any respect, but they're quite well paid.

I wasn't focusing so much on the details of his foot job, but whether or not that really was tommy hanging with the arrietas again.

So managers can't position players where he wants them? I think batters ought to learn how to hit to the opposite field or lay down a bunt to the opposite side.

The article addresses that. Basically saying it's never gonna happen.

What's interesting to me is that, according to the data on Fangraphs, the Cubs shifted the least out of any team last year. And in 2017. And 2016.

Over those three years they were first in DRS.
