He's clearly not a good cultural fit. Maybe they'll take Zagunis as a return?

if you're quiet, you can hear faint echoes of "shut up and pitch" ringing in the air

I'm just going to assume he's an anti-vaxxer or something.

If he spends much longer in that place, he will be. We need to rescue him ASAP.

Dexter Fowler knows actually what he's doing by saying that...

During a "Not For Women Only" panel discussion, former Cubs pitcher Mike Bielecki asked several players to invent a baseball catch phrase for Viagra. Theriot's ad campaign: "Viagra -- I always play hard."

I mean, he's just barely a year out from his surgery, so he shouldn't have pitched this year regardless. I'm guessing this is more "I'm gonna rehab at home" than actually affecting anything on the field.

Doesn't strike me as a guy susceptible to flat earth nonsense. I think it's a joke.

Cardinals reject Wong's 11.5M option, Mozeliak says they probably won't bring back Wainwright or Molina. No team is going to spend any money.

A Cubs team that is trying to win in 2020 should be very interested in Kolten Wong on a short term deal. Hoerner didn't do nearly enough to win the job.
