horsefeathering flabbergasting. It’s one thing to lose baseball games. It’s another to lose your integrity and bring shame to the city.

Headhunting
Internal brawls resulting in serious injury
Historically poor losing streaks

Jose Quintana will be on the next Cubs team that wins a World Series.

Brewers are about to go 17-2 in their last 19 games with more than half of them without their MVP bat. Such a stupid season

And if this score holds up, they will have allowed three or fewer runs in 15 of those games. What the ever living horsefeathers is going on here?

horsefeathers them so hard.

Not saying it will happen, but the Cubs coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win the World Series does seem like the appropriate way to cap off this season and make the 30-for-30 even better.

Think what you want, but the disparate K and BB splits he he had in April were fishy as hell. Couple that with Yu’s recent statement and Yelich’s “thou protest too much” tweet and I’m of the belief that Yelich was being fed signs at some points in the season.

And Yelich ended up with a 44-36/55-63 split along those lines.

Cherington took the Pirates' GM job. Here's to him building a nice pipeline of talent for the Cubs over there...Got the Reds and Brewers hiring Derek Johnson back to back with great success, Reds giving Boddy the house to keep him away from the Cubs, everyone looking for their Hottovy at pitching coach, at least two Theo proteges getting GM jobs....Definitely seems like the actions from the baseball world go against the narrative that the Cubs are this backwards franchise left in the dust by Andrew Friedman as he shrank payroll while not winning a WS 5 times or the Astros, who started tanking first and walk out of the decade with the same # of WS wins as the Cubs

That’s a large gap, especially being the first year and how it affects future years

If he wins that I think the Over/Under on number of seasons Hader has left in Milwaukee is 1.5
