My god the hype on this team is insane. The Venn diagram of people betting this and those who bet on Mitch to win MVP that made it the most exposed MVP bet at books is just a circle.

In addition, the Tweet I saw said that to account for 2 series that conflict with Pirates' home series, the Jays will be the 'home' team in road games against the Yankees and Nationals.

If Friedman gets an extension done, that Betts transaction is basically a clinic...Do something similarly cool with Lindor, Theo, or ignore my wrath when you don't

Good for Mookie. Sucks the Cubs didn't have a chance, but realistically given that they're now all but locked in over the cap this year, there's no way PTR lets then do anything fun next winter.

How sure are we that Friedman is not imprisoned in his own home/had his family kidnapped, because this is just what a distress signal for him would look like

How quickly you have forgotten that the Rockies were projected to win 94 games this year.
In '08, with basically the exact same team (as '07), we won 74 games and lost 88," Monfort said. "But like a great American hero, Forrest Gump, once said, '(Stuff) happens.' And that's what happened in '08, because in '09 we won 92 and lost 70. Most of the people I talk to that were on those teams say the '09 team was our greatest team.

"I interpolated '07, '08 and '09 — I had an analytical staff go through and interpolate those numbers — and so in 2020, we'll win 94 games and lose 68.

Tom Hatch, who we traded for David Phelps, made his MLB debut today and tossed two scoreless innings.

With the expanded rosters, I'm curious what familiar faces/former farmhands will get a shot elsewhere. Rafael Dolis made his first major league appearance since 2013 the other day.

Verlander is our for the year with an elbow injury. Could be out next year also if it’s the UCL.
