Have to think a Cub is gonna take over that Busch stadium lead before long. Rizzo is the closest with 9, and he has 14 at Miller Park too.

I'm surprised a Cub isn't the leader at Great American Ballpark

Damn, can't believe anyone's ever catching Willie Mays at Wrigley. Pretty cool that Mays and Mantle are the 2 'old park' record holders.

I would expect the record at Coors field to be higher, especially since it's Barry Bonds. 26 HRs? That's it?

You need someone who is at a divisional opponent and is a strong power hitter, and then is there for many years. Even if you hit a HR once every 3 games at Coors, it's still gonna take you 9 years of that pace to get to 27, and not many people stay in one place that long.

Figure Bryce Harper will get the SunTrust Park record for a long time if he re-signs with the Nats. If he doesn’t... Who? Hoskins with the Phillies?

If he keeps this pace up, Juan Soto.

What kind of lunatic thinks, "hmmmm, yeah; a pic of me and the corpse of Larry King is the best way to put myself out there?"

This is honestly one of the most impressive plays I've ever seen in baseball. I can't horsefeathering throw lefthanded for the life of me. Not to mention how much pain Velasquez must have been in...

The Nationals are 7 games behind the Braves. and 3.5 games behind the Phillies for the 2nd wild card, with 3 other teams between them. Like, I'm sure Bryce will go supernova soon and they'll win 20 of 25 and this will all be a distant memory by the time the season is over, but damn.

Now a game under .500 and 5.5 games out of the 2nd wild card.

How far out do they have to get before they decide to unload some of those free agents before the deadline? Is there any point they could possibly reach where they’d decide to shop Harper?

Of course, the Cubs were 42-43 last year, too, and ended up winning 92 games and the division relatively easily.
