For those that have the Athletic, the bitter Dusty article is interesting. Still hates the Cubs and is still pissed about the dropped third strike call where Javy hit the catcher.

The conversation about analytics is rich.

Rosenthal: Dusty Baker opens up on the Nats, his career, racism, the state of the game and the ‘smell of collusion’ https://theathletic.com/477001/2018/08/ ... collusion/

During a "Not For Women Only" panel discussion, former Cubs pitcher Mike Bielecki asked several players to invent a baseball catch phrase for Viagra. Theriot's ad campaign: "Viagra -- I always play hard."

Kyle Hendricks is running over Dusty Baker's foot with a John Deere riding lawnmower. The blood splatter from Dusty Baker's foot injury sprays onto Ryan Zimmerman, Jayson Werth, Bryce Harper, and Stephen Strasburg.

My friend who lives in Houston and is a huge Astros fan wrote me a few weeks back tell me how great Hector is, and wondering why the Cubs give up on him. I told him “just wait.”

Today he emailed me and said I see what you mean. He’s blown like 5 saves in 15 chances.

On the other hand, Cahill has been really good this year. Pitched a gem today.

I'm Ready By Eloy Jimenez

https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us ... o-im-ready

And hey, as long as I don’t get hit by the baseball during my first at bat in a White Sox uniform, I’m pretty sure my debut is gonna go just fine.

Let's hope he doesn't debut against Urena, he'll take that as a challenge.
