He was Ohtani's peer even considered better by some, came out strong as a teen in the NPB, did some cool stuff, and then sometime in maybe 2017 or 2018 got the yips. He got demoted and, when finally looking to come back this Spring tested positive for COVID. Good news on that front is he is starting games and has zero TJs to Ohtani's 1...A realised Fujinami is arguably the most talented non-MLB pro pitcher out there, he's expressed a desire to prove himself worthy before coming to the MLs (after King 5 MLers maybe) so hopefully he does...IIRC earliest he could be posted was like 2023 anyway at 29
