I would not have guessed that Weaver was alive before today and the same could be said for Musial.

Damn, Earl Weaver died today also. In his honor, I present the greatest video clip in the history of baseball:

Musial also missed his 24 year old season due to WWII I'm assuming.
Cause my life is dope and I do dope [expletive].

[The sound of fastballs] was one of those things that told me my pitches were fast....because I've never heard pitches as loud as mine.

I'd like to know how 6.8% of [expletive] writers didn't vote for him for HOF.

He is #1 all time on BR's hall of fame monitor. In order Cobb, Ruth, Aaron, and Mays round out the top 5 amongst hitters on that list fwiw.

First, for as much douchebaggery as I deal with down here with regard to the Cards, Musial probably is the most underrated great player in the history of MLB.

Second, I had no idea Earl Weaver was in the lollipop guild. Holy [expletive] he was short!
I like beer.

Musial was on the same team as Griffey Jr's grandpa in high school. I bet he was a decent player, too.
Marge: Grandpa, this flag only has 49 stars on it
Grandpa: I'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I recognize Missourah!
