5 no-hit innings now.

Don’t know this is possible with Duke in person.

58 pitches through 5 innings for Adbert. He threw 83 pitches his last time out. He likely has a pitch limit around 95 tonight.

Adbert looked really good btw, if you couldn’t tell from the near no-no. Sat 94-95 all night. I thought his curve looked really good, too.

More love needs to be given to Spring Training hitting legend Mike Freeman........

But yeah Adbert on point again

So the next outing could be shaky based on his season trends

Here’s some video of Alzolay I took last night:

He works very fast. Surely an advantage in keeping guys out of sync. Some of his innings flew by.

Interesting article. It says he believed he needed to slow down on the mound while in his 2nd start, but in the video Duke posted, he's basically beginning his windup as soon as the batter appears set. Either way I like what they said about his change up and it's development. Looks like a legit MORP at least.

He has said in the past one of the main reasons he took a huge leap last year was that he sped things up and stopped thinking so much on the mound. So I could see a situation where he overdoes it like his second start and this is more normal for him but plenty fast compared to most pitchers.
