Honestly, it's kind of shortsighted to frame it only in the context of just the election; they're flat out trying to kill the postal service.

Democrats have to demand funding to secure voting rights in the stimulus bill. Protecting the election has to be a part of anything they agree to.

They've been trying to kill it, but now is just a really good time for them to pull the plug

Yes, let’s keep downplaying the attack on the election.

The Economist now has Biden as a 91% chance to win the Electoral College, winning every swing state and Ohio, NC, AZ, Georgia and Iowa as toss ups.

Antectodal "Trump is trying to destroy the USPS" story. We moved last year and had mail forwarding through July 15. An invitation sent to our old address and postmarked July 1 was not processed until after our mail forwarding ended (July 20) and ended up being kicked back. So almost 3 weeks for a simple standard first class USPS letter. I've noticed other seemingly long delivery times (i.e. a letter from my mortgage company on July 15 took until about July 24).

So PSA if you are planning to utilize mail in voting this election, start looking into your local requirements/deadlines and completing steps now, especially if you've had an address change since the last election. I know I'm delinquent on even updating my address so that's on the top of my list this week.

I had a conversation about her with a couple friends a few months back and they tried defending her, but I thought her comments were going too far and lacked credibility. Her remarks about Trump and the WH's response to this pandemic are shameful... She deserves all the scorn and ridicule coming her way.

Which is ironic given the whole system favors white people.

He absolutely WILL declare victory on election night if it's anywhere close, and the 24/7 media will not be able to resist the temptation to call the election (and be first to do so)

I've been looking forward to Election Day 2020 for a long time but as we get closer and read more stories like this, the more petrified I am no see what happens. It would have to take a significant Biden rout in several of the battle ground states for there to be even a chance of Trump surrendering the presidency easily. Otherwise, its going to take weeks to figure this out and even then I don't expect Trump to leave without the Supreme Court being involved in some fashion.

For as much as the media annoys us all with their takes and calls on elections, you all are exasperating me just as much with this "will he leave the office?!" and "will he accept the election results?!" fretting. IT DOES NOT MATTER!!! THAT'S NOT A THING!!! I'll end the suspence for you. He isn't going to "accept" the results, but that won't matter whatsoever. I'm going to lose my gd mind if you keep this up.

Manhattan DA is looking into specific bank and investigment fraud on the part of the Trump Organization. At this point, I have no idea what that means.

We’ve never had an election before where the result wasn’t clear on election night, a victory was prematurely declared them pulled back, and then we had to go months without a resolution while legal channels sorted through it. It’s literally never happened and we are completely unprepared
