I have no idea who that is but I absolutely hate reading when someone commits suicide. Really bums me out.

same. Was lucky enough to meet him and the band after the show, too. Seemed like a genuinely good guy.

The AV Club randomly posted this yesterday, which sent me down a crazy awesome rabbit hole of Beastie Boys clips:

What...I mean...she wasn't supposed to be up there in the first place. I don't go to hip hop concerts, so I don't know if that is standard or not. I'd prefer to watch the acts I paid to see. (The only exception is getting people from the audience to play the keyboard for Andrew WK songs.)

I only kinda asked a question but what you said defiitely wasn't an answer. Anyways, bringing that lady onto the stage has a best case scenario of being a worse version of the song that you'd expect. The worst case is exactly what happened. Why a white person would get on stage to preform a song with n-bomb mines all over the place is inexplicable even before the song starts.

I may have missed it but by my count/interpretation new Kanye album has more references to the Cubs (1) than Trump (0), unless you count Stormy Daniels as a Trump reference than it's equal.

I like it a lot so far.
I also think he might be on to something with the 7 song / 20-25 minute album thing.

Man, just when you want to hate Kanye for saying crazy nonsense, he puts out songs where he talks frankly about his mental health problems. Ghost Town is nuts

public enemy's it takes a nation of millions to hold us back was released 30 years ago today. on the shortlist for best hip-hop album of all time, in my opinion.
