BOOOOOO talking about terrible bands.

Good band: My Morning Jacket, who I'm seeing tonight (for the 6th time). Pound for pound, my favorite live band on earth right now

Apparently McCartney now has the rights to The Beatles music videos, so now some of their videos which are very hard to come by online are able to be posted now without being yanked in 15 seconds. Video for "Rain" shows off Paul's shredded front tooth that he broke falling off a motorcycle the day before. Unimaginable to think that today they would continue on with a music video shoot with a star's mouth all busted up. It's most evident about 40 seconds in.

I really liked Run, but this is definitely going to have more widespread appeal.

3. Blood On The Dancefloor
4. Somebody's Watching Me
5. Dirty Diana
6. Torture
7. Leave Me Alone
8. Scream
9. Dangerous

Sources on social media are reporting that Grant Hart, a singer, drummer, and songwriter who helped define the sound of alternative rock with his work in legendary post-hardcore band Hüsker Dü, has died. Hart was 56; Variety reports that he had been suffering from cancer.

Listening to the new Prophets of Rage album and.....I don't know. I want to love it, but the whole "rapping over hard rock" sound easily devolves into Limp Bizkit territory (though the lyrics are actually good)

Man, hope for what? That lineup just screamed "irrelevant buttrock" as soon as it was announced. When was the last time any of the people involved put out something that wasn't terrible?

Plus they're called PROPHETS OF RAGE. You might as well name your band, "This Is Musical Garbage."

Followup: the lead single is called "Unf*ck the World." I mean, all of the warning signs were there.
