Sony admits to releasing fake Michael Jackson songs.

https://www.vibe.com/2018/08/sony-music ... son-songs/

The songs in question include: “Monster,” “Keep Your Head Up,” and “Breaking News.”

Serova testified in the Los Angeles Superior Court that they were recorded by an impersonator named Jason Malachi.

Jeez, that's being a bit harsh on Timberlake.

Even's the dude's best music has, IMO, aged pretty terribly. Both content-wise, and just his insistence on not really maturing much at all. He's still just trying too hard to be angry and complaining about it all the time; it's just moved on to griping about how nobody got his previous album.

eminem is a talented rapper, no question, but his beats have been horsefeathering garbage since day 1. "stan" is the only exception and that's due to the the 45 king being behind the boards and jacking a beat from an 18-month old pop song.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Guys, I really liked Mac Miller. One of the rare hip hop artists who actually got better over time. I thought he was a mediocre rapper with a decent vocabulary when he first got started. But over his last 3 albums, I thought he was becoming a true artist. White Childish Gambino artistically, IMO.

If I wasn't in Pittsburgh, I probably would have never given him another listen from the first time I heard him. Now, I'll genuinely miss his music and artistry.

He’s one half of Darkside. His solo albums are fantastic but the Darkside album from 2013 was some next level horsefeathers:

25 year anniversary of Liz Phair's Exile in Guyville. Easily one of the best albums of the 90's.

yet another sign that we are all old and decrepit, outkast's speakerboxxx/the love below came out 15 years ago (9/23, to be exact):

If you were holding out hope that the Kanye West who infamously told us that George W. Bush “doesn’t care about black people” was going to make a return anytime soon, don’t hold your breath—you might die.

The album features performances from Tekashi 6ix9ine—who pleaded guilty to three felony counts of sexual misconduct with a child—and the now-deceased XXXtentacion—who was accused of domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and aggravated battery by his pregnant girlfriend. Questionable choices for musical collaborations to say the least, but this is Kanye we are talking about, so anything goes.

He is the scheduled musical guest for the season 44 opener of Saturday Night Live, having been subbed in as a last minute replacement for Ariana Grande. He told The Fader that he would have preferred to have Louis C.K.—the disgraced comedian and sexual abuser—be the host of the show for the night. Because. Kanye.

He won’t stop making uneducated statements about slavery. He not only incorrectly stated that there were only 800 slaves in the U.S. in the 1800s, but he also said that he would have “run, fought, or got killed” if he were a slave, and on one of his new songs he says multiple times “I’m giving up my slave name.”
