Sorry to let you down. But I'll add that he was an elementary school principal.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

No idiot has ever quoted Field of Dreams to support bad baseball opinions.

Jeffrey Loria's conned billions out of taxpayers because of this movie.

All baseball movies are great. Even the horsefeathers ones find a way into the pantheon of "so bad they're good" movies.

Don't bring Loria into this just to get me to agree with you. Mizzou's favorite baseball movie was definitely Bull Durham.

Bull Duhram was funny in parts and it kinda feels like at least some people involved in it knew that the Costner Church of Baseball stuff is absurd.

Field of Dreams has none of that. It takes itself completely seriously despite having no good reason to do so.

I don't care what kind of nerd-ass criteria makes something a good "baseball movie" or not; all I know is that Bull Durham is a good movie. If I want to worry about how good the baseball is, I'll watch a horsefeathering baseball game. It's just window dressing otherwise.

Mr. 3000 and Major League 3 beg to differ (and yes, it's my fault for watching either one)
