I love legos. But I struggle with what to do with them when I'm done, because where am I going to put the Back to the Future Delorean, or the Simpsons House, or the Millenium Falcon? It's bad enough trying to find a place for the ones that I've helped my kid build.

I'm sure it exists, but there needs to be some sort of Lego exchange store where you trade in one used kit for another.

My son is 10 which is pretty much the apex of Lego interest. We're running out of room for the stuff we've built. We started watching Star Wars Resistance and got the idea to build the new ships from that series. Now we've pretty much run out of room on the shelf but my son doesn't want to take any of them apart.

There's a Lego group for every line of sets (Star Wars, City, etc.) on Facebook. Most are closed groups but will let probably everyone in that wants to join. People there could direct you toward the best places to sell your sets and then use the money to buy more. Be forewarned, though, there are people there that have dedicated whole rooms to really amazing Lego displays.

Short story long. Buy the kit and build it. Then take it apart and sell it. If you still have the box and include the Mini figures you should get most of your money back for the bigger sets, particularly if you wait until they're no longer available in stores.

The only thing that matters is settling whether or not the plural of "Lego" is "Lego" or "Legos."

Well that's just ridiculous. It's clearly Legos and I question the intelligence of anyone that says otherwise.

i say "lego" when talking about actual sets (delorean, millenium falcon, medieval castle, hospital, etc.). when i'm using the product, they're called "legos."

There is not plural of Lego, it's just the brand name.

I have 10 of the Architecture sets displayed in my office. I only buy sets from places I've been. The new(er) skyline series are pretty cool (I have NYC, Chicago, London and Vegas)

All these years Truffle has been trying to sell us on how great Australia is, and then this gif just goes and ruins it for me.

Australia looks a lot like America with the green signs and the shield type route number thing. Change the exit distance from Km to m and it would look basically the same.

Yes they are. I only get them as gifts or if someone sends me an Amazon gift card. No matter how much I would need about about having the LEGO Millenium Falcon in my office, I could never justify the hundreds of dollars
