Yeah it sucks a bit but I’m more lucky than I am not. It is what it is and i have to wake up tomorrow and I’ll do my damnest to do the best i can.

Very best to you and your lucky lady whatever path you go down. Feel sure it’ll be for the betterment of whatever special child that is the beneficiary.

We've recently been trying. Started trying in earnest is August and we got pregnant right away (first cycle off the pill). Alas, we found out in mid October that we had lost the child. It took over a month of my wife going to weekly appointments for blood work and the blood work kept coming back saying pregnant (despite quite clearly miscarrying - she had taken the meds over the D&C and passed the fetus at home). We were basically in a holding pattern that whole time as the doctor was advising us during that time to avoid trying to get pregnant and complete another full cycle. Was a very frustrating time, dealing with the grief and feeling like we couldn't even try to move on by jumping back on the wagon. So December was our first shot to try again and we were unsuccessful. Hoping for better this time, hopefully we get good news later this month, but I know even if we do my wife is going to be a ball of anxiety at least for the next couple months and we reach that 12 week mark. And if we are unsuccessful again, that doubt will eventually start setting in and feeling like the first pregnancy was some missed chance.

Hope sharing this helps you in some way. I'll root for you guys.

Yeah, she has a friend whose mother was unable to have more children after she miscarried and apparently during the D&C her uterine wall was damaged. So she had that weighing on her, coupled with the fact that she wanted badly to pass it naturally at home. It didn't work out and once she took the pill - I don't want to go into details - we ended up spending the night in the ER and she was passing in and out on a gurney. We are making certain that does not occur again so we are going in for the D&C on Thursday. My wife is pretty terrified and I'm doing all I can to be there for her and keep her calm and distracted to a certain extent.

I know exactly how it felt for you guys in that "holding pattern". It's so agonizing. You hear, "hey at least you can have fun trying, right?", "At least you know you guys can get pregnant" and you can only take so much solace in that. We ain't no spring chickens and the odds are stacked pretty high against us as it is; when it's happened multiple times, though, you really have to catch lightning in a bottle. I truly hope that is not the case with you two, and thank you for the kind words.

Sometimes we are drivers in cars, but we are always passengers in life. This means that we should always keep an eye out for anything and everything that might happen, including botched attempts at road rage. Wait, scratch that; especially for botched attempts at road rage.

In a video uploaded to Facebook yesterday, we can hear the woman recording, seated a safe distance away in her car, narrating the scene that has unfolded before her.

Take a look.

Guys, I have some terrible, terrible news. Brace yourself:

https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/bj57 ... ness-vgtrn

Are you tired of your constricting skinny jeans? Do your legs long for the freedom and comfort of flattering, wide-leg pants? Do you secretly wish you looked more like a Limp Bizkit album cover? Well, the time has come to either make a change or accept your tight-pant fate for good.

This week, JNCO, the 90s clothing company that turned a generation of disaffected youth into walking garbage zambonis, announced that it is officially closing for good, SFGate reports.

It's going to be 80 here today and I just saw my first mosquito of the year. Spring is on its way Yankees.

We still have to wait like 2.5 months for anything resembling Spring consistently over here

On Sunday Denver reached a high of 70. Today there is about 4 inches of snow on the ground and a low of 7 degrees.

It’s 73 here today, but I’m not counting on it lasting more than a day. Early springs just don’t happen here
