It's a shame you've all brought specific chit-chat to the general chit-chat thread. It's almost disgraceful.

When I got my PS1 as a birthday gift, it came with Jet Moto 3. That game was fun as horsefeathers.

A student of philosophy, eager to display his powers of argument, approached Diogenes, introduced himself and said, "If it pleases you, sir, let me prove to you that there is no such thing as motion." Whereupon Diogenes immediately got up and left.

General chit-chat meanders from topic to topic. I know you guys hate talking to people, but take it to the Random Thoughts Thread.

Man, I snagged one from a gift exchange this year as a joke and you're right. You look and feel ridiculous while you use it, but you feel amazing afterwards.

No, pancakes are awesome. I will agree that good pancakes are harder to make though.

Waffles >>>>>>>Pancakes>>>french toast. Reverse order if there is a fruit topping/filling, though crepes are in the conversation then.

Waffles > pancakes > French toast, but it's damn close and I love all three.

If I'm really digging in at breakfast I'm going with some kind of omelet or scrambler/skillet feast, and a couple buttermilk pancakes tend to be the best compliment to that.

grew up eating an amazing spanish omelette that my mom makes, but i can never get them in restaurants. i think i have a limited tolerance for eggs or something because, while i like them at first, once i eat a certain amount (in a given sitting) i am disgusted by them. like gag reflex starts to come into play.

so yeah, i just get french toast (or waffles if i want to change it up) and bacon when i go to breakfast. maybe some hash browns or home fries too.

if you mean like as an everyday thing, i agree. having "breakfast food" for breakfast is a rare treat for me. usually, especially during the week, i'll either have nothing til lunch or i'll have a bowl of melon or an apple or something on my way out. i'm too much of a snoozebar junky to actually cook something.

French toast is tricky because it's the easiest to screw up of the three. Plus most of the time when I order it I'm actually thinking of the french toast my mom would make and end up being kinda disappointed when it isn't that. Hers is definitely extra egg-y.
