What is he even talking about? I'm 6-4 and unfortunately well past 210 and XL works fine for me. Granted, he's probably wearing nicer clothes than I am.

Maybe he's talking about the slim/athletic/tailored fit instead of the regular/classic fit? Only thing I can think of.

my girlfriend has apparently just now discovered internet commenters. she came home and started telling me a story about some guy or something (I never listen to her) and after a while of her rambling, I realized she was arguing online with a total stranger who had a terrible opinion about something she knew a little bit about. she actually said, “I thought for sure when I pointed out how he was wrong that he would thank me”. I don’t know if we can be friends anymore

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Didn’t notice i got the “new car scent febreze”. Great. Now I'm going to be walking around smelling like a new car when I’m too lazy to do laundry

my 2.5 yo son pointed at my cubs hat on my head and said "daddy's blue!".

i took this as a compliment slightly higher than "i love you".

I stumbled upon this article again after seeing it when it first came out, and it might be my favorite thing I read this year: Eddie Hall Talked Us Through Life as the World's Strongest Man

I’m nearing the end of a cross-country road trip and currently in Flagstaff, Arizona. The hotel I’m at has a casino attached to it and I forgot how depressing these things are. Walked up to the ATM machine to take out a $20 for video poker and the guy in front of me was doing a cash advance to play penny slots. I also counted four people hooked up to oxygen tanks playing slots. Soul sucking, to say the least.

I used to love the World's Strongest Man competitions. It wasn't just a weight lifting competition. Events like pulling an airplane the farthest in a set time or carrying an awkward giant rock the farthest were fun things to watch.

Or like when Magnus Samuelson snapped some dood's arm like a twig back when they used to do arm wrestling? Or better yet (do not watch if you are squeamish or dislike refrigerators):

I’m not a gambler so it’s really jarring to see all the really old people mindlessly dropping coins into slot machines. The Vegas airport is horrible. I use to go with my parents to casino boat in Indiana every once in awhile when I’d come home but I had to stop going. Fortunately for them losing $60 between the two of them was a really bad night.

assuming it's because of the bright colors and noises and not because he's a boy genius, my 8 month old baby is absolutely enamored with wheel of fortune when it's on. since he's usually in bed when it's on, i'll sometimes put on an old episode from youtube on the tv for him to watch. a really old episode from the 80s came on, and pat sajak wasn't the host. this dude (bob goen) was straight-up terrible and ruined the show. my son cried.

so yeah, he's a conservative horsefeathers, but here's to you pat sajak, a damn fine game show host.

I have been through the Vegas airport about a dozen times and Im not sure ive ever seen more than 4 people playing the slots there. Granted, half of those times I was barely conscious, BUT STILL

Which is odd, since there’s a long-running rumor/theory that the slot machines at the airport are the “loosest”, presumably to trick visitors into playing more at the casinos

I cant believe you can buy deodorant at a gas station for $2.99. I dont care how small the stick is, if someone is buying deodorant at a gas station, they will pay much more than $2.99 for it.
