Y'all need some serious education about chocolate.

our british/irish neighbors were good sports with halloween celebrations this year but I apologized for our 2nd rate versions of all this stuff. They were happy to accept that apology and move on.

You should as well, mister.

This doesn't deserve to be lost in one of the NFL threads...

https://deadspin.com/bomani-jones-on-to ... 1820038413

Tom Brady's magical training routine:

Every day, [Brady] wakes up at 6 in the morning and immediately drinks 20 ounces of purified water, augmented with TB12 electrolytes, which, as he tells us, contain the “72 trace minerals” generally lost in perspiration. As a result, he says, he is so well-hydrated that “even with adequate exposure to the sun, I won’t get sunburned,” and he presumes that the muscles under his skin look like “beautiful tenderloins” instead of “shriveled jerky.” He trains about four hours a day, and on most days, he “does pliability” with Guerrero, who, with hands capable of generating “50 newtons of force in a single finger” — about 11 pounds — applies “targeted pressure” to Brady’s muscles. “On the rare occasions when I don’t have the benefit of working with Alex,” he either does “partner-pliability” or goes solo with a jar of coconut oil he applies himself and a TB12 “vibrating sphere.” He eats abstemiously, with few portion sizes bigger than the palm of his hand, but also with a purpose, to maintain the “alkalinity” of his body. And he sleeps in the same determinedly therapeutic fashion, repairing to bed at 9 each night in a room uncontaminated by either technology or pet dander. He keeps a glass of water by his bedside and sleeps, famously, in TB12 “bioceramic recovery wear,” which is also for sale from TB12 and which Brady also considers part of a “movement” — the “tech-enabled apparel and sleepwear” movement.

Brady is the epitome of an idiot savant.

Normally I'm not rooting for an athlete to get injured, but this jerkoff basically screaming "I'M INVINCBLE!!!!!" because of dumb luck makes me want to see him get carted off of the field with a ruined limb SO BAD.

What was his whole excuse when he was whining about the ACA and the idea of single-payer health care? That he'd have to jack up the prices of his garbage, tastes-like-balls pizza something like 15 cents each?

I think maybe they were more popular in the 80's. I bought one after just about every little league game I played. Harder to find them now.

I was a kid in the 80’s and have never seen it. I don’t think they ever even sold them down here.

I thought it was only like 6 cents but 15 might be right. I heard that and i was like "oh damn if its that small why not just raise it 17 cents and make a profit off of taking care of your people?" but apparently the right thought that a homeless man's rounding error added to the price of a pizza was legitimately terrible. I remember hearing that ridiculousness being the first time i realized that papa john was a [expletive].

I guess I'll have to take a political stand and continue to not eat Papa John's pizza.

I read a headline that Papa John has lost around $70 million in the last 24 hours. Poor baby

horsefeathers Pepe John. Also horsefeathers Jimmy John's. Both franchises are so easy to boycott.

It's not quite what you think. That's what caused him to make his comments on the NFL and the protests. His comments weren't the cause of it.

No, earnings caused the stock decline, his nfl rant was part of his prepared remarks to discuss those earnings. An amazing dereliction of leadership that he railed against in the first place.

And then at the end of his remarks he drenched himself in gross butter sauce to try and make it all palatable.

In his defense, there really should have been ranch dressing.

You only have about nine more years before the time change doesn’t suck for the kid

Both my kids inexplicably slept an hour longer than they normally do. I had to double check the clocks this morning to be sure.
