That was... honestly extremely well made. I'm not sure that's what United has in mind since the only requirements were "5 years experience and knows how to operate a DSLR camera"

Honestly though, bad press aside, the benefits of that job would be tremendous for my family as it would allow my mother and brother to fly to visit my grandmother more often without needing to take extended time off. The travel benefits and discounts are pretty great and apparently kick in immediately.

I have a buddy who's girlfriend works at Delta and they take all kinds of exotic trips for cheap/free. Their facebook makes me extremely jealous.

My sister in laws great Dane did the UK to US transit, amd those long flights are not friendly to dogs at all. To do it twice like that, no less, at 10 years old... I feel bad for that pup.

If I ever relocate somewhere that can be reached by car, those dogs are driving with me.

United rarely has TVs in the plane from my limited flights w/ them so not sure where they'd project the video

Yeah, I think it's mostly corporate interviews and filming conferences or something. They outsource their commercial work, or so I'm told, but maybe they can't afford that anymore...

I think ive said it on here before, but my brother is a pilot and dog owner and he will never fly his dogs ever again. It is really awful. He's made multiple drives from Colorado to the east coast because of it.

Turns out the only way to have New Yorker cartoons be funny is to have a 9-year old caption them:

Some of those are downright Far Side-ian

Chipotle needs to figure out their online order fulfillment system. Stopping a line of 30 people for five minutes to put together an online order is bad management

I sometimes stop by a NafNaf (Mediterranean-ish food) downtown for lunch. They do online orders as well except they have a separate small work station behind the main one where they finish the online orders. All they have to do is jump in for a second to grab the main parts. They also probably have another crew member on during busy times (weekday lunch) to work on just online orders.

Im guessing the people who ordered online would disagree with you. They ordered before you, just wait your turn. Its five minutes.

I actually enjoy the death glares and frustrated noises made by the filthy masses herded up in a line at Chipotle when I saunter in to pick up my online order. That's right, scum; WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU.

The last time I went to a Subway it was over the lunch hour so there was a line, and this woman gets to the counter and orders 4 different subs and the guy in front of me got all huffy about it and was noticeably upset by this person ordering food for her coworkers. Just chill out people, you'll get yr food

The point is that they could easily figure out a system where they can fulfill in-store and online orders at the same time, they just dont

Definitely anecdotal, but I've found my online orders to have noticeably less ingredients in the burrito/bowl. Skimped on rice, barely any salsa, etc. Unless I'm ordering for a bunch of people or the line is totally outrageous, I prefer having them make it in front of me.

It's Chipotle, you can literally see the assembly line. If they're so busy that there's no time to fit in an online order in between, then in-store orders are gonna get held up when the time comes. There isn't extra burrito-making capacity they're not using.
