I love 538. Trump's approval rating has not really dipped all that much, but his disapproval has increased significantly. Still only 52% of people disapprove of what he's doing. I wish that was absurdly low, but it's not. It is crazy high in comparison to all other Presidents since Truman.

That has way too many words on it for Trump to read. Itd be smarter to run a commercial on Fox.

I could see it beinga narcissistic thing too. like, if I am by myself with a woman she will just throw herself at me no matter what. Then again I am sure that as a major political figure he does get more feminine attention than the normal person.

It's rooted in a total disregard for women as anything but objects of lust and temptation. So...super Christian, I guess

there's nothing wrong with a married man avoiding 1 on 1 dinners with a female friend out of respect for his marriage.

the problem is avoiding all 1 on 1 interactions with females, including dinner, which can often be strictly business related. this avoidance of women goes a long way toward preventing those women from potentially advancing their careers. It is part of the misogyny and old boys network. If you have the ability to hire people, and you can't be alone with women, you can't hire women, which is a disgrace.

this is one of many problems with cowards and hypocrites who hide behind the veil of their religion.

Right. Women are chattel and cannot be trusted. It's so ingrained in their culture they don't even recognize how degrading it is to women. My wife's family is in the church of christ (one small step below a cult) and they are crazy about this kind of stuff. No instruments may be played in church. No dancing or swaying, etc.

Her mother went in for surgery and the reverend or whatever they call themselves prayed for my wife and I to get back into to God's grace right in front of her mom before the procedure. Didn't bother to pray for her mom at all.

Fox News is bonkers.

They are complaining that Obama was spying on Trump. No morons, the US Gov. was spying on Russians and the Trump team was talking to them. How hard is it to understand?

I turn on Fox News once in awhile for maybe 10 minutes, just to see what they are feeding the people. It's breathtakingly stupid.

They aren't going for nuance because they know their audience won't grasp it anyway.

If Pence pardons Trump and whoever else goes down I'm going to seriously be pissed. This isn't Nixon trying to get the upper hand on a political opponent. This is treason. Trump should go away for the rest of his life, probably about 4 or 5 more years.

it would probably be like nixon where the president gets pardoned and everybody else (flynn, page, manafort, nunes, etc) gets to spend a little time in jail.

that being said, would republicans really have lost that much? they won an election by conspiring with a foreign enemy to manipulate the US election, and as punishment they still control all of government and get to replace a wildly unqualified, unpopular moron with a far more generic republican who will just serve as a rubber stamp for whatever congress sends him. oh, and then get at least one lifetime appointment to the supreme court plus Lord knows how many other appointments to the federal bench.

i guess the reason that republicans keep cheating is because they never seem to get punished for it.

Odds of Flynn having a "tragic accident" sometime before he can testify?
