As hard as the Trump-right media machine tried, “It’s Obama’s fault” or “Why didn’t you complain about family separations then, shill?” were failed rhetorical gambits overcome the harsh shock of the now. Retrospective whataboutism is always a weak hand.

Also, this family might be Cubs fans. I spied a Cubs pennant hanging in one room.

Ooo this seems like a dangerous question, but the truth will always be the right answer. It was already on the wall of the room we used. Hope I haven't lost your vote!

Yep, I think this is right. I'd be interested in other opinions, however, if there are other candidates to displace Newt from the last, say, 30ish years.

Yeah, I'd put a pretty huge parade of media figures who caused a lot more damage than ol' Newt.

you have to admire the conviction of that business owner to stand by her principles, because you know the huckabee family was going to spend a horsefeathers load of money on food.

Dems being excoriated after the Red Hen incident makes me LOL. "Incivility" seen as the most regrettable phenomenon of these times thanks to NYT & other legacy media when actually horrible things are happening....and then horsefeathers like this.

It's just common sense that the person you want handling US trade is a cripplingly narcissistic ghoul who can't even process the concept of a business arrangement where he isn't completely screwing over everyone else involved.

I said it a few weeks ago that I hope nobody from this admin can enjoy a meal in public anymore. If the media wants to "both sides" this nonsense then I don't really care. You're either for or against it at this point. There was an article lately about Trump workers having trouble on tinder, etc. and it couldn't have made me happier. Get your horsefeathers right and then maybe we can talk about respect.
