this is the best info i can find on that matter (spoilered for img size)

the narrative you speak to may have set in earlier in the primary when Clinton had better name recognition; also this polling is for candidate preference rather than staying consistent with my favorability point, so there's the nagging (and fairly maddening) issue of 'preference' baking in ideas and notions about electability

The publication has existed since 1828. Now, ok, maybe this is just a Republican false flag distraction to be proven bunk...but then why state that the House Intel Committee knows about this? Its going to be the first thing Schiff gets asked on Monday. He'll either shoot it down immediately...or...

At the very least, it's one juicy as horsefeathers rumor that I'd love to be true.

I mean, for the obvious fact of sinking Trump, I get why you want it to be true, but horsefeathers, I really don't want it to be true

I won’t lie, I want that to be true more than Ive ever wanted any random news story to be true. But uh....you can either go by the name Cockburn, or you can expect me to take your words seriously. You can’t have both.

I mean...sure, Trump's base is less likely to turn out when Trump isn't on the ballot, but non-college whites is essentially ALL of Trump's voters, while college educated whites only make up a portion of Dem votes. You need to normalize all these numbers against past elections in order for them to have any meaning or predictive value at all, and you also have to make some kind of guess at whether or not enthusiasm for the non-college whites will continue to be low in 2020. I don't think "upside" is something to worry about while Trump has historically and stubbornly low approval ratings and non-stop scandals to dominate the news from now until history books cease to be written.

The non-college whites have to be disaggregated from evangelicals and non-evangelicals.

Now the GOP narrative fully switches to "quid pro quo is no big deal". I read a legal opinion that stated, it amounts to a bribe Trump was asking for.
