Ohhhhhhh, right. He was the spaz who couldn't resist running into the SW and GoT threads and constantly complaining about people enjoying something he didn't like.

Then he lost his mind during a discussion about head trauma in football, declared that he himself was proof that concussions aren't a big deal:

viewtopic.php?f=44&t=1669&p=199206#p199099

...and then flamed out spectacularly with this:

Wait so it's q.e.d. that high school football should be abolished? Ok guys I must have cte.

You have a forum here full of this weird groupthink. I'm not sure if you are stupid or insecure in that you take an extreme opinion like football should be outlawed, Star Wars is important for adult males or game of thrones integrity matters, easy and apparently incontrovertible. The stronger you hold these thoughts and write them out and read them you reinforce them in some application of dual code theory. And the more you focus on the secret parentage of a game of thrones character or a new trailer for Star Wars and that football needs to be destroyed the more you can armor your psychological resilience and having never satisfied a woman resonates somewhat less.

This explains why sank so hilariously spiraled off into talking about "pleasuring a woman" like a psychopath. Yikes.

Oh, and one person liked that post. It was Boris.

Thank you for finding that. I may have been drunk or on pills when on i wrote and getting to reread it now for the first time is exhilarating.

Personally I just want Bernie to win, and I don't really care if I have to sound a little hypothetical about it given how nakedly corrupt and terrible and hypocritical literally every other candidate is.

Didn't he cheat on a term paper and got mad that he got caught and thought it was unfair?

No, I think that was Skyballer(?) or something like that. The kid who thought that Alterbridge was objectively a better band than The Beatles.

Sank888 wrote:538 has Biden was a 31% chance to get a majority of delegates and 8% for Sanders. Is there somebody else who does this? Because 538 will have those numbers basically flipped tomorrow after sanders cleans up today. Bloomberg hasnt been on a ballot. Hes already purchased a bunch of todays vote. Biden and Bloomberg are still going to split votes. Warren is going to get her votes. Todays results will be similar to the first vote in nevada with ~30pct going to sanders. I dont get what has happened to change anything.

Pete and Amy were never factors in super tuesday states. Pete was doing well because of retail campaigning and never had national support. Id argue Amy dropping out of minnesota and creating whitespace for sanders is the only meaningful change and that favors sanders.

Biden and Bloomberg need to consolidate support to stick with bernie. And they havent yet. So i dont get why sanders isnt favored to get the majority of delegates. 538's methodology must favor volatility and nate is hearing the noise and missing the signal.

Seems pretty straightforward. The latest polls are moving hard to Biden and have even before SC. Bernie got a mini surge post NV, but Biden distant second place finish must have helped push a competitive narrative in voters minds?

Or the latest polls are junk. 538 has certainly been pushing a "uncertainty" narrative as their model has turned over the past few days.

What's really strange is that asterix that got inserted in the top of my reply. I didn't notice I even did it. That humors me.

...but yeah, the only reason the (clear) plurality of delegates shouldn't get the nomination is if, at the convention, the nominee is revealed to actually be a couple of dogs in an old-man suit, and even then I'd have my reservations.

It would explain some of Bidens past inappropriate touching at least.

It still doesn’t make sense that a plurality should automatically get in. Biden with a one term pledge with somebody acceptable to left wing, like warren, should easily be able to bring it all together. Whether he has a plurality or is narrowly behind sanders. But if Bloomberg has a plurality they should outright reject him and go with sanders or Biden or warren.

As for the Bernie bros. Considering their litmus test for a candidate is needing so ardent a 40 year documented history of socialist advocacy that they cannot even bring themselves to criticize Cuba, who is going to satisfy them in 2024? Assuming Dennis Kucinic is too old to be their new leader, who next? Assuming as I do; the Bernie bros will fracture, and leaving them out of the political process has no repercussions moving forward.

Just old enough. But less about her being a presidential candidate by then (I don't think that) , she's clearly the odds on favorite to be the face/soul of the progressive Dem Socialist movement post-Bernie.

If Bernie fizzles out here, a lesson for "the bros" may be the revolution has to be much more bottom up focused anyways.

2028 feels like the sweet spot to get a real progressive in the WH, and I think it'll be AOC. Millenials will be 29-48 by then, and I imagine their demo will be heavily polarized with the DEMSOC on one side and Trump-style horsefeathers on the other. Bernie may not get it done but he's done so much as far as making room for a true progressive at the table.

This is an early postmortem. If Bernie has really harnessed latinos this narrative will be very different when Texas and California are reported. If it’s a hard sweep there then this is very different.

Damn. The Bernie surrogate on CNN just said “Latinx”. I don’t know that I have heard that said on a major outlet.
