We just laid off nearly 200 ppl, and my pay got cut 10% "until this crisis passes". Not sure what that means, but at least I'm still employed for now. I'd expect to be laid off if/when this goes into May.

I could've told you that. As soon as Trump calls it a hoax, his brood follows suit. I lost count of people in my Alabama friend circle who naysay on Facebook acting like this is no big deal and how "We probably already had it in December and came out fine" and it's all just media hysteria.

They'll be the ones who suffer most, and they'll choke on their pride all the way until their death rattle before admitting the media and the Democrats were right.

More likely they'd blame them on their way out.

I've seen a few posts that have "capitulated" to "well, the truth is probably somewhere between Cuomo and Trump". Sure, if "between" means standing right next to Cuomo and miles away from Trump

Someone needs to remove Trump, Kushner and any other non-expert crony from the equation and let the adults work. Put them on cruise ship, lock them in room, put them on shuttle and launch it into space, just remove, they're a big hinderance not a help.

I've read, given his age, and overall lack of physical health, that some doctors believe there an excellent chance Disease Donald tested positive.

Given his general state of physical health, I'd assume if Trump had been positive he'd be on death's door by now.

It is incredibly depressing that Trump's approval rating has actually gone up during the crisis.

That indicates there is a segment of the population somewhere who did not approve of Trump's performance prior to Coronavirus, but his response to the pandemic has somehow changed their minds.

It is depressing however, COVID-19 is not something that can be filed away and dismissed as lies like the Mueller Report or acquitted in a Jim Crow trial. As deaths mount, he'll continue to blunder, horsefeathers up, showing a lack of leadership that'll make things worse, the light blub will come on for some of them.

The McDonald's special sauce that lines his entire insides prevents the virus from being able to latch on.

There's a natural reaction to get all lovey early on in a crisis. And he probably had like 2 days last week were he was like 70% of a normal person.

Once people start really dying that approval rating will plummet back to his floor.

I'd call BS on that cop-out, he's be given plenty of chances to show general leadership and compassion.
