Maybe I’m wrong.

Because the goal is to keep the story on ACB which is not a winning issue for the GOP.

The fly stuff is funny, but let's talk about how Pence didn't address the peaceful transition of power.

Remember, Pence is just as bad as Trump. The GOP is rotten to its core.

Wait, are you saying that it's not only about Trump? Because I have many "reasonable centrist" people in my life who assure me that once Trump is gone, GOP'ers are ready to be a majoritarian governing party; that Dems are teetering on totalitarianism and socialism and communism, and thus smart people like them MIGHT pinch their nose and vote for Biden, but will still vote GOP rest of the ballot.

Regarding fossil fuels and de-regulation for more smoke to be blown into the air, its a scientific fact the burning of fossil fuels is a leading contributor to climate change. If the Trump administration is sooooo committed to cleaning the air and fixing climate change why is so hell bent on burning more fossil fuels? I'd hit Pence with that if I were Harris. Touches on two points this administration' attempts to discredit science and greed. We all know Pence doesn't believe in science as he and mother are probably on their knees every night trying to pray COVID away. I'd like to place Pence ten feet below me, while I drop a bowling ball aimed at his head I want him to pray the laws of physics away to avoid his head from being crushed.

Yeah, weird, it's almost as if saying so would fly in the face of public opinion, and the reticence is indicative of intent to impose minority preference on constitutional rights regardless of what the majority of the citizenry wants.

At one point Pence basically said thanks for the question but I’m just going to talk about I want instead. I guess that proves during these debates you really only need to answer questions that you want to answer. Harris was much more direct but honestly, Pence has the worst hand to play in the history of American politics. All he’s got is smoke and mirrors. So that’s what he used. Harris probably let him go on because she didn’t need to flip out over his lies. She’s up by 10 points (more in some polls). And leading in most battleground states. You don’t take that and then let your opponent draw you in. That said she had some great points like the “that means you OWE someone” line. Umm yeah we should know who Donald owes. To me that was a hammer blow. Anyone anywhere will understand when you owe someone they have control over you.

let's be honest here, pence is already punching way above his weight. he's a mediocre far-right bible beater who should have plateaued as, at best, an bland back-bench midwest senator like roy blunt or pat roberts. he managed get onto the GOP ticket because trump was looking for a rust belt evangelical a-hole who was boring enough to keep all of the attention focused on trump, and pence's name was pulled out of the hat. then his running mate managed to win by negative 3 million votes.

pence should consider himself lucky that he fell ass-backwards into the vice presidency and the national spotlight for at least four years, rather than toiling away in the obscurity he so richly deserves.

Mike Pence, Trump has denied a peaceful transfer of power, what would you do if Biden won?

Mike Pence: We are going to win the election. The FBI spied on the Trump Campaign. Mail in voting is fraudulent.

Mike Pence how would your administration address people with pre-existing conditions?

Mike Pence: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want to make late term abortions legal.

Mike Pence do you think climate change is a threat?

Mike Pence: Joe Biden SAID HE WOULD RAISE TAXES!

Mike Pence why isn't the economy rebounding like Trump said it would?

Mike Pence: It is recovering and Joe Biden wants to raise everyone's taxes in the middle of a pandemic. Green New Deal bad. We need fracking jobs.

I don't think many/any here are a fan of the guy, but that silence is golden.

I mean, for whatever policy positions many on here don't like him for, the guy is actually a pretty skilled communicator and politician. That much should be obvious.

Trump out of the next debate, though I have no confidence he will STAY out over the next week.

A town hall debate is exactly the type of debate that Trumps handlers should run far away from. Trump is the least empathetic person on earth.
