Even Rehnquist had 2/3’s approval. We may not see anything but straight part line votes for the next decade

Again, going only by the votes paints a much different picture than what really went down. The Rehnquist confirmation to Chief Justice was UGLY (and at the time was the most votes ever against a CJ nominee).

hopefully the don't take the wacky religious/handmaid bait and hammer her on being on video 4 years ago saying Supreme Court seat shouldn't be filled in an election year and especially when it would so drastically alter the balance of the court... "If your opinion can so quickly and easily change in such a partisan and self serving way, how can you be trusted with the ability to write precedent setting opinions?"

Mayor Pete rocked the question answering from Fox News over the last week. He should run for governor of Indiana.

I was confused why this popped up in my feed this morning too, but it's from May of last year when he was still either a candidate or talking about being a candidate. Either way, he's had a (surprisingly) good week.

I've seen people stan him and want him on the cabinet, but I agree, he needs to run for some statewide IN office. All the young promising stars from Red/Purple states *cough* Julian Castro *cough* should absolutely be taking on these tough statewide races in the next few years.

Have we seen any evidence whatsoever that any of these rubes actually tested positive?

Although, it makes perfect sense that COVID is running threw these clowns, they've acted recklessly and with grand stupidity, I'm beginning to wonder about your point. Feigning an illness to get political support seems like a horsefeathers up idea but, desperation is starting set in, with Biden being elected. A Democratic Administration means they're in for a world of hurt, their corruption, grifting, etc. potentially being laid bare has them [expletive] bricks.

Somebody needs to investigate why the 8 GOP Senators went to Russia on July 4th, 2018.
---------------

Did anyone see the news reports with the lines of people voting in Georgia. One line was 7 hours long. People are going to vote. It's a sham what they are doing and someone ought to get charged.

All of the horsefeathers, the whole of Trump Presidency is prime picking grounds for conspiracy, nothing overtly complicated, its all related to money.

Regarding the vote, what's happening is disgraceful, but, you've got to like people are inspired to vote, going to overwhelm all of the suppression tactics with persistence and numbers. The message is pretty clear, 8 + million early votes, people standing in lines for hours to vote - Trump will be dumped.

the dream scenario is Biden is up in all the necessary places election night, and we get a Trump tweet saying we need to wait for the mail in votes to come in before calling it.

Like all the other rats fleeing the sinking ship lately, positioning themselves for the inevitable post-2020 memory holing of things done by bad actors.

Even better Trump tweets because of Obama', Hilary', Mick Mouse', etc. investigation of his 2016 campaign he should be allowed to carry over his 2016 EC votes.

No alarm bells. The stated objective is awesome.

A college friend I hadn't talked with since 2016 texted me last night. He wanted 500 bucks of action at even odds on Trump...
